Johnson Oil Company and Tiger Tote Food Stores have an immediate opening for a Recruiter/Retention Specialist. The position recruits, interviews and screens job candidates to fill company openings at multi-locations in Texas by visits to college campuses, job fairs, consultation with personnel agencies and contacts within the larger community. Also develops process for attracting, rewarding, evaluating and developing talent to improve retention. Assists with other HR functions as needed.

Job requirements: Bachelor’s degree plus at least three years of experience in human resources department. Thorough knowledge of equal opportunity laws, ADA and other government compliance regulations that affect job recruitment. Excellent interviewing and general communications and writing skills. Clean driving record with valid driver’s license.

Job location: Will office at corporate headquarters in Gonzales, Texas. Periodic travel to other locations in Texas will be required.
